Brooke Eden Shines with Powerhouse Vocals at Thirsty Cowboy

on

It’s Friday night at Thirsty Cowboy… Brooke Eden and opener Erica Dawn are ready for some GIRL POWER!

Local artist Erica Dawn kicked the night off with bang! The winner of this year’s Best Local Band from the Akron Beacon Journal “Beacon’s Best” Awards filled her set with originals from her EP Break of Dawn including her self-penned song “Southbound and Determined.”  Dawn also added a couple of covers to fill out her 30+ minute set. Her country rocker edge and awesome stage presence got the crowd going and pumped for the headliner, Brooke Eden.

Eden isn’t your typical female country artist. She is a dynamo with her shows and you could tell that from the minute she stepped foot on that stage. She kicked off her set with her single “Daddy’s Money” which is the story of her life. She grew up in small town Florida playing shows with her Dad’s band at a very young age and this lead to her pursuit of a career in Country music. From Eden’s powerhouse vocals to her command of the stage the crowd was dancing and singing along the ENTIRE show!

Not only did Eden sing tracks from her brand new EP Welcome To The Weekend, she also covered some diverse songs from other genres of music. Her versions of “Drink You Away” and “The River” were two highlights of the evening. This girl can SANG! Eden also shared a fun fact with the crowd during the show. She stated that she has performed more shows in Ohio this past year than any other state! I think it’s safe to say Brooke Eden <3’s Ohio ….and I can’t get enough of her new single “Diamonds”

If you haven’t heard it, or missed Brooke Eden at Thirsty Cowboy, make sure you download her new EP Welcome To The Weekend …you won’t be disappointed.
