Gary Allan and Brothers Osborne are coming to Medina County Fair

on

The 172nd Medina County Fair will welcome Gary Allan and Brothers Osborne on Thursday, August 3.

“The Medina County Fair Board is really excited and enthusiastic about bringing great entertainment again to the Medina County Fair,” said Bob Bauman, entertainment chairman of the Medina County Agricultural Society Board of Directors. “For not having a show for two years, this will be a nice show for fairgoers.”

Brothers Osborne was named Vocal Duo of the Year and New Vocal Duo of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards earlier this month. The duo are known for the hit singles “Stay a Little Longer,” “Rum,” “21 Summer” and the newly released “It Ain’t My Fault.”

Allan has been a fan favorite since his debut album, Used Heart For Sale in 1996. He has had four No. 1 singles from his nine studio albums including “Man To Man,” “Tough Little Boys,” “Nothing On But The Radio” and “Watching Airplanes.” His last visit to NE Ohio in January at the Hard Rock Rocksino at Northfield Park was a Sold Out show.

“It’s a good combination,” Bauman said. “The combination, I think, shows two different styles of country music. That was a good goal on our (the Fair Board’s) behalf.”

The show will mark the return to musical acts after two previous years without due to availability and affordability of Country artists. In 2015, Little Big Town had to cancel their concert due to Jimi Westbrook being out and recuperating from vocal surgery. Previous acts to the fair have included Josh Turner, The Band Perry and Brantley Gilbert.

The 172nd Medina County Fair is July 31-Aug. 6, 2017. Visit their website for more information at www.medina-fair.com.

Gary Allan and Brothers Osborne will be performing at the Medina County Fair on Thursday, August 3 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $30 (+$3 service fee) and available online at medina-fair.com, through the Ticket Tracker app, at the Fair Box Office or by phone 330-723-9633.
