Granger Smith Stops at Dusty Armadillo for a Sold Out Show

on

Granger Smith has been considered to be one of the more genuine modern country music artists and his new music certainly expresses that. In his new album When the Good Guys Win, which was released in late October, the 14 songs all share a common theme of appreciating the moment and living for today. Even before listening to a song off the album, many fans can relate strictly from the album’s cover art. The work gloves embellished on the front signify the hard work that many of his fans do on a weekly basis just so they can support their own families.

He’ll bring all of his new music when he stops by Dusty Armadillo in Rootstown, Ohio this Friday night. The show has long been sold-out and his die hard fans have been counting the days until the show.

In an interview with iHeart Radio, Smith explained that after being injured during a performance in New Jersey and taking some time off, he had lots of time to think which allowed him to treasure the present and not worry as much on the future. This helped him write the relaxing, yet relatable album that every country music fanatic can connect with. Although the album is very personal and real, Smith’s alter-ego Earl Dibbles Jr. never fails to make an appearance and he did so in the song “Don’t Tread on Me” which electrifies his crowds during live performances.

Since the release of the album, Smith has been practically glued to his cell phone personally calling his fans that bought the hard copy of his album to thank them for supporting him and believing in his music. He also met thousands of fans at pop-up shops all over the country where he promoted his music, all free of charge. When he’s not meeting fans or on his cell phone, Smith joined in on radio shows and even created his own podcast where he gives fans a behind-the-scenes look into his personal life. All of this proves why Granger Smith is so well-liked by many.

Granger Smith will be performing along with special guests SmithField on Friday, February 9 at Dusty Armadillo in Rootstown. The doors open at 7pm; SmithField takes the stage at 9pm and Granger Smith performs at 10pm. The is Sold Out.
