Major League Baseball announced that five-time Grammy Nominee Hunter Hayes will sing the National Anthem prior to Game 6 of the World Series between the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio on Tuesday, November 1.
The 25-year-old Hayes recently released his single “Yesterday’s Song” from his from his yet-to-be-named third studio album. The song has been heavily added by Country music radio stations across the country and has been added to the iTunes “Hot Tracks” list. Reviews of the song call Hayes’ performance on the track as a “hard-driving, Keith Urban-like rocker, with some Lenny Kravitz-inspired guitar.”
The World Series Game 6 will air on Fox – Channel 8 at 8:00pm (ET).
