Jameson Rodgers Returns to Thirsty Cowboy

on

While growing up in Batesville, MS,  Jameson Rodgers had his sights on playing baseball and making music. His passion for baseball led to a scholarship at Northwest Mississippi Community College and later transferred to the University of Southern Mississippi. During that time he started writing songs and formed a band that had a local following.

In 2010, Rodgers made the move to Nashville where he continued to work on his songwriting and played at songwriters rounds whenever he could. All of his work paid off with a publishing deal with Combustion Music in 2014 and had his song “Wish You Were On It” recorded by Florida Georgia Line for their Dig Your Roots album.

His first self-titled EP which produced the streaming hit single, “Midnight Daydream.” His second was met with acclaim for his songs “Ain’t Really Over” and “Some Girls.”

His latest songwriting credit is for the latest single by Chris Lane, “I Don’t Know About You,” which was recently released to country radio.

Jameson Rodgers will be performing at Thirsty Cowboy in Medina along with special guests, County Line on Saturday, September 15. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8:30pm. Tickets are $10 and are available at ThirstyCowboy.com or at the door. 18+ welcome.
