Jana Kramer’s recent personal issues with her husband (Michael Caussin) that have led to their separation won’t stop her from being a cast member on this year’s Dancing With the Stars.
The full cast was announced on Tuesday (August 30) for the 23rd season of the dance competition.
The last time that a country girl (Kellie Pickler) was on the dance competition show was in 2013, and she won the mirror ball trophy as the top celebrity dance contestant that season.
Kramer also confirmed the news on her social media pages, adding that Gleb Savchenko will be her professional dance partner.
Besides Pickler, Sara Evans, Billy Ray Cyrus, Wynonna and Chuck Wicks are other country stars who have competed on the show.
Other contestants on this year’s Dancing With The Stars include former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Vanilla Ice, Former Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick, former Taxi star Marilu Henner and Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte and gymnast Laurie Hernandez.
Dancing With The Stars returns on September 12 on ABC.
