While in Northeast Ohio for a recent drum clinic hosted by ProLogix Percussion, Rod Flauhaus from Cleveland Country Magazine had the opportunity to talk with award winning recording and touring drummer, Rich Redmond about his career and working in Nashville.
Based in Nashville, Rich has been Jason Aldean’s drummer since the very start of Jason’s career and is currently in the midst of their summer tour which comes to Blossom Music Center on Thursday, August 23.
In addition to working with Jason, Rich is one of Nashville’s top session players and producers. Rich has recorded and performed with some of the best country and rock artists including Ludacris, Kelly Clarkson, Bryan Adams, Bob Seger, Joe Perry, Garth Brooks, Chris Stapleton, Jewel, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Thompson Square, Eric Church, Deana Carter, Chris Stapleton, Montgomery Gentry, Alabama, John Anderson, Trace Adkins, Keith Urban, Travis Tritt, Emily West, Chris Cornell, Kelsea Ballerini and many others.
