Kellie Pickler is no stranger to TV. She got her big break after competing on American Idol, then won Season 16 of Dancing With the Stars and also stars in her own CMT reality show I Love Kellie Pickler, opposite her husband, songwriter Kyle Jacobs.
Now, her highly anticipated new talk show Pickler & Ben, starring the country music singer and TV personality Ben Aaron, will premiere Monday, September 18 on WEWS-TV5 in Cleveland at 3:00pm (EST). Faith Hill, who helped conceive the show, serves as executive producer.
“We will bring a little bit of southern charm and inspiration to our viewers, alongside insights from top tastemakers and experts in many areas,” said Faith in a statement. “Kellie is very much southern while Ben is everything New York – complete opposites but together their chemistry is magic and our viewers are going to love them.”
Pickler & Ben will be filmed in Nashville and is reported to be putting a new spin on the talk show format, with the odd-couple hosts reporting on everything from entertainment to food and decorating.
