When did band form: 2016

Members: John Dillon Hardy

About the band: John Dillon Hardy has been a local Country music fixture since 1994, fronting bands that performed at countless venues and opened for a long list of national acts. Hardy currently performs with his own one-man acoustic show and plays all of the music he loves, which includes songs from the 1990’s and 2000’s along with some new stuff and classic favorites. His show is just him, his guitar and a computer tablet for backing tracks.

Hardy performed with Unforgiven, Conestoga, Heartland, Rebels & Rogues and Lawless since he first started 23 years ago. While with Lawless, he opened the show for Dwight Yoakam, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Gary Allan, Gretchen Wilson, Randy Houser, Jack Ingram, David Nail. They performed at just about every local fair and festival and opened the shows for national acts on the WGAR Afternoon Saloon and at the House of Blues in Cleveland for years.

Why you should see their show: John Dillon Hardy loves to perform and seems at ease when he is with guitar in hand and singing into a microphone. Hardy puts it a little simpler by describing it as “I’m a guy with a guitar, who sings songs for the people.” He performs mostly 90’s and early 2000’s Country, but adds a few newer tunes and classics in his set list. He will throw in some other favorite oldies and some oddities, but leans heavily on those artists he loves which include Yoakam and Waylon Jennings.
