About the band: Southern Cross formed in January of this year, but the group of musicians all are veterans of the Northeast Ohio music scene having played with various bands including Dixie Soul and Backroads. The six-member group features both female and male lead singers which enables Southern Cross to cover a wide range of covers including songs by Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Kip Moore to Johnny Cash, Lynard Skynard and Blake Shelton. Their harmonies shine on covers by groups like Little Big Town and they even throw in some ’80’s classics to round out their set list.

Southern Cross has been booking shows and filling up their schedule with performances all over Northeast Ohio. They recently were invited to perform along with Nashville recording artist and songwriter Ryan Griffin at Whiskey Ranch in Green.

Why you should see their show: The high energy band plays Country, Southern Rock and even some 80’s classics in their shows. Having female and male lead singers adds to their ability to cover a long list of covers from a list of artists in different music genres. The professionalism of the members comes through in their performance and their harmonies. The group strives to bring out the best show they can with an eclectic mix of music that will appeal to any music fan.
