Luke Bryan performed a new song at his VIP event before his show at Verizon Amphitheatre outside Atlanta, Georgia on June 17. The song titled “Like You Say You Do” is even new to Bryan who stumbled through the lyrics and filled in with …”watermelon, watermelon, watermelon.” Watch the video from the VIP event below.
He did make it through the song which includes the chorus… “If you love her like you say you do / Then why don’t you love her like you say you do / ‘Cause I wanna love her like you say you do / If you ain’t gonna treat her right then don’t make her lie awake another night waiting for another dream that just ain’t coming true.”
Bryan recently became the first Country artist to have six songs from one album top the Country Airplay Charts in the 27-year history of the chart. That album is Bryan’s fifth full-length, Kill the Lights, which contains chart-toppers “Kick the Dust Up,” “Strip It Down,” the Karen Fairchild duet “Home Alone Tonight,” “Huntin’, Fishin’, and Lovin’ Everyday,” “Move” and “Fast.”
Bryan is currently on his Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day Tour which started last month at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The tour will stop at Progressive Field in Cleveland on Saturday, July 15 with special guests Brett Eldredge and Lauren Alaina.
