Michael Ray is giving his all on his “Get To You Tour,” and he’s also giving back. The country star has integrated a way to help rescued animals at all of the stops on his 15-city tour. The idea came to Ray since he adopted his rescue dog, Wrigley this past summer.
“Wrigley is a huge part of my life – she’s on the road with us and she’s there for all the major moments,” shared Ray. “She changed my life back in June and I’m hoping we can change the lives of other shelter dogs by lending a helping hand.”
Ray, along with help from Zappos For Good and local animal shelters have started the Wrigley Cares: Helping Animals In Need program. Zappos for Good will assist by finding shelters in need and set up a donation station at each stop on the tour. Those attending his shows can drop off donations at the station and receive a discount code for Ray’s merchandise.
All donations are welcome and each local shelter is specifically looking for: dry/wet dog and cat food in addition to new/slightly used towels and blankets which will be used to line shelter crates.

Ray, began his “Get To You Tour” on October 5 in Tuscaloosa, AL and will make a stop at Thirsty Cowboy on Saturday, October 21 along with Warner Music Nashville label mate Devin Dawson.
Already achieving two No. 1 singles, Ray’s first single “Get To You,” from his upcoming sophomore album, was the most-added on the country airplay charts upon release.
Michael Ray will bring his “Get To You Tour” with special guest Devin Dawson to Thirsty Cowboy in Medina this Saturday, October 21. Doors open at 7pm, Dawson takes the stage at 8:30pm and Ray at 10pm. Tickets are $15 and available at ThirstyCowboy.com or at the club’s Box Office.
