Miranda Lambert Releases “Vice” Video

Miranda Lambert released her latest video for the song “Vice” this week.  The song, which is her first since her divorce from Blake Shelton, is rumored to be about her “ex.”

The video starts off with Lambert surviving a car crash and then walking through a town and coming to a crossroads. The story line seems to reflect on her break up in 2015.

Lambert described the song, which was released last month, as a tear-in-your-beer lament. “[It] takes a lot of confidence and strength to be willing to be vulnerable. And I feel like when you listen to this song, there’s really nothing to read into. It says what it says. Everybody has a vice. Everybody goes through a time in their life when they run to it a little bit more than when they don’t,” she told Billboard Magazine.

The video was shot in Lambert’s home state of Texas in the small town of Smithville, and once again behind the camera was Lambert’s favorite director, Trey Fanjoy.

Watch the video for “Vice” which is from her upcoming untitled sixth studio album, which has no release date set.
