It’s been months in the making and their fans have been waiting for years…and it’s finally here. The debut CD from the Twinsburg based Post Road will be celebrated at a Release Party at Hard Rock Live in Northfield, Ohio on Wednesday, November 23.
“We are very excited about performing on the big stage. All of us have seen many concerts of some of today’s best country and rock artists at the Hard Rock Live,” said Roland. “It’s an amazing feeling to think that we will now be playing on that same stage.”
The CD titled That’s My Road, is a collection of six songs written by Post Road members Shawn Roland, Steve Radcliffe and Sarah Radcliffe. The title track has been one that the group has been performing for years in their live shows. The song tells the story of growing up in a small town. Other songs range from the blue-collar anthem of “Good Men Do” to the heartbreak of lost love in “She’s Gone.”
The CD will be available at the release party on November 23 and at all of Post Road’s live shows. That’s My Road will also be available at many of the online streaming services including iTunes, CDBaby and many more.
The band originally started in 2011 when Steve Radcliff was asked to play guitar for a library fundraising event with a “Hoe-Down” theme. He knew playing acoustic ballads all night wouldn’t be enough and looked to find musicians who could help play for the evening. The group of musicians he formed became Post Road and after a few departures of members for various reasons the current lineup includes Shawn Roland (lead vocals/guitar), Sarah Radcliff (lead vocals), Steve Radcliff (lead guitar/vocals), Dave Warner (bass/vocals), Dave Vogrin (drums), and Andrew Krakowski (guitar/vocals).
The band has received numerous accolades and awards over the years including the Scene Magazine’s Best Cover Band and Best Male Vocalist in 2016.
The Post Road CD Release Party on Thanksgiving Eve, November 23 will be held at the Hard Rock Rocksino in Northfield’s main concert venue, Hard Rock Live. The event is FREE, but attendees will need a ticket for entry, which will be available at the Hard Rock Box Office starting on Monday, November 21.
“The best part about the show is that it will be FREE to everyone, “explained Steve Radcliff. “We are building an exciting show that revolves around all of the songs from EP and also throwing in a few surprises. The venue’s sound and light system is one of the best around and we know our fans will be treated to a Post road party like they have never seen before.”
