Shania Twain is Coming to Quicken Loans Arena in 2018

on

Shania Twain started to let on earlier this year at the Stagecoach Festival that she may have the stamina to do another world tour. Well, now it’s official. Twain will begin her Now Tour, in support of the album of the same name, next spring and summer with a date in Cleveland at the Quicken Loans Arena on Saturday, June 16, 2018.

Tickets for the show are $29.95, $44.95, $59.95, $84.95, $109.95 & $149.95 and will be on sale to the public starting on Friday, August 25 at 10am. There is also a list of presale opportunities, including VIP, which begin on Tuesday, August 22 at 10am. For a complete list of presale and other ticket information go to Quicken Loans Arena.

The Now Tour will kicks off May 3, 2018 in Tacoma, WA and will run through the rest of the summer, ending in Las Vegas on August 4, 2018 at MGM Grand Garden Arena. The tour will make stops at more than 40 cities along the way.

In 2015, Twain was on what she stated at the time would be her final tour, Rock This Country. It was her first North American tour in 11 years, but thankfully she has changed her mind.

“I just feel like I’m ready to hang my hat up in that regard,” she said in 2015. “I just really want to go out with a bang.”

By the spring of this year, she was considering another tour and felt the last one ended too soon, as it was scheduled around her son’s school schedule.

“I felt like at that time maybe that was all I had left in me. I really felt that way,” Twain says, “but I was so energized by the tour and by the fans. For the first time in my career, I really felt like it was easier and the fans really gave me more than ever before for some reason.”

The five-time Grammy winner will release her first album in 15 years on September 29. She debuted the single, “Swingin’ With My Eyes Closed” from the Now album last night on the Jimmy Fallon Show.  You can watch the video of her performance on the show below.

Twain will also be performing later this month (August 28) at the US Open in Flushing Meadow, NY.  She will be headlining the Opening Ceremony and will perform her biggest hits, as well as introducing many of her new songs from the Now album. The ceremony from the Arthur Ashe Stadium at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center will be televised on ESPN2.
