Styles Haury Co-Writes Luke Bryan’s New Song “Country On”

When I first saw singer/songwriter Styles Haury perform six years ago at a benefit in Medina, Ohio, he shared what he wanted to do with his career and how he planned to make a name for himself in country music. Pretty big sights for a kid from a small town.

But, he kept his focus on the music and he paid his dues performing at clubs all over the country. Last year Haury signed a publishing agreement with Warner Chappell Music Nashville and is represented by one of the best artist management group’s in the business, Creative Artists Agency.

With today’s (7.1.22) release of Luke Bryan’s latest single, “Country On,” Haury can now add co-writer for one of the biggest names in country music to his resume. The song, which was written by Haury, Mark Nesler, David Frasier and Mitch Oglesby, also features Sarah Buxton on background vocals.

The anthemic tribute to America’s hard working men and women was delivered to country radio with perfect timing to coincide with Independence Day.

“I love that the song uplifts the hardworking American people out there, and it brings a lot of unity,” shared Luke Bryan. “It just has feel-good vibes all the way around it and anytime you can reference country music fans in a song, and you can really make it feel natural, it’s great. And this song does just that.”

Bryan is no stranger to hard work, being the son of a farmer he understands what that takes and says the first line of “Country On” drew him into the song right away.

“When you hear, ‘Hey Farm Boy…’ I mean that certainly spoke to me right off the bat, and the fact that we were able to put so many different aspects of the way, the country American way of life out there, and I felt like this song really, really nailed it,” Bryan adds. “It was something that really spoke to my heart and being able to put it out in the heart of summer, right against the Fourth of July, I feel it’s gonna talk to, speak to a lot of people out there.”

Bryan recently launched his Raised Up Right Tour, which he takes to Virginia Beach July 7th, followed by dates in Raleigh, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia.

If Bryan follows follows his trend, “Country On” could be his 30th #1 hit, and Haury’s first.

Congrats to Styles Haury, a Medina, Ohio, native who followed his dreams to Nashville, and is finally seeing all of his hard work pay off.
