Willie Neslon Rushed to Hospital After Concert is Cut Short

on

Country Music legend Willie Nelson had to cut his concert short after only six songs last night due to breathing problems. The 84-year-old singer was performing at USANA Amphitheatre in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The news broke on Twitter last night amidst speculation of Nelson’s health due to recent issues earlier this year. He was taken to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, where one Twitter user reported his condition was very serious.

The singer later tweeted that he suffered from high altitude and was “heading to lower ground.” He also apologized for having to cut his Salt Lake City performance short.

Reps for Nelson stated he was back on the bus and they were taking him to a better altitude to help him recover. No word on if any shows will be cancelled due to this latest health issue.

Nelson is scheduled to perform at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on Friday, September 15 with the Outlaw Music Festival along with The Avett Brothers, Sheryl Crow, Blackberry Smoke, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Particle Kid.
