HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS STAPLETON
Born on this day in 1978 in Lexington, Kentucky, was @chrisstapleton. He moved to Nashville in 2001 to pursue an engineering degree at Vanderbilt University, but dropped out to focus on his music. He has become one of the most prolific songwriters, writing and co-writing over 170 songs, and co-writing six number-one country songs, which include @Kenny Chesney's "Never Wanted Nothing More", Josh Turner's "Your Man" and Luke Bryan's "Drink a Beer". Other artists to perform his work include Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Brad Paisley, and Taylor Swift. He has also co-written with many artists such as Sheryl Crow and Ed Sheeran. He was the lead singer in two bands before he started as a solo artist, and finally released his solo debut album Traveller in 2015 to great critical acclaim. He has released five albums that have all reached #1 on the Top Country Albums Chart and produced the #1 singles, "Tennessee Whiskey," "Broken Halos" and "You Should Probably Leave." The Grammy, ACM and CMA award winner has been married to singer/songwriter Morgane Stapleton since 2007.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VINCE GILL
Born on this day in 1957 in Norman, Oklahoma, was @vincegillofficial. The singer, songwriter and musician moved to Louisville, Kentucky, to join the band Bluegrass Alliance after he graduated from high school in 1975. Afterwards he spent a brief amount of time in @Ricky Skaggs' Boone Creek band before moving to Los Angeles. He made his debut on the national music scene with the country rock band Pure Prairie League in 1979, appearing on that band's album Can't Hold Back. He is the lead singer on their song "Let Me Love You Tonight". In 1989, Gill signed with MCA Records. He sold over a million copies of his label debut, 1989's When I Call Your Name, of which several songs, including the title track, made the U.S. Country charts' Top Ten / Top Twenty. This was followed by the albums, Pocket Full of Gold (1991) and I Still Believe in You, of which the title track went to U.S. Country No. 1. Gill has won more CMA Awards than any performer in history and as of 2018 has also won 21 Grammy Awards, which represents the most ever by a country artist.

Chief's bar in Nashville, which is owned by @ericchurchmusic, and where @morganwallen was arrested on Sunday night (April 7) for throwing a chair off the six-story building's Rodney Scott's Whole Hog BBQ restaurant, weighed in on the incident with a reference on their marquee.

As of Tuesday, April 9, the marquee outside of Chief's reads, "OUR PIGS FLY OUR CHAIRS DON'T," above the name of the rooftop BBQ.

@coltfordmusic suffered a heart attack on April 4th after performing at Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row venue in Gilbert, Arizona. Ford was rushed to the ICU at Banner Desert Medical Center and is getting some good news about his condition.

A representative for Ford tells PEOPLE he's on the mend while continuing to receive care.

"Ford remains in the ICU, with his condition steadily improving in a positive direction," reads a statement from the 54-year-old musician's team on Monday, April 8. "At this time, his family is requesting privacy and appreciates your continued thoughts and prayers."
