On This Day in 1991 @officialalanjackson was at #1 on the Hot Country Songs chart with "Don't Rock the Jukebox." Jackson wrote the song with Roger Murrah and Keith Stegall and It was released on April 29, 1991, as the lead single from the album of the same name. It was his second consecutive #1 single on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. The song also received an ASCAP award for Country Song of the Year in 1992. That same year, the song was covered by @officialalvinandthechipmunks, featuring commentary by Jackson himself, for their 1992 album Chipmunks in Low Places.

Born on this day in 1976 in Leesburg, Georgia, was @lukebryan. He began his musical career in the mid-2000s, writing songs for Travis Tritt and Billy Currington. He first appeared as an artist on the charts in 2007 with "All My Friends Say," and hit #1 for the first time in 2010 with "Rain Is a Good Thing." The five-time ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year has returned to the top of the charts another 29 times!
