Congratulations to Rodney Atkins and Rose Falcon who welcomed their first child together. The country star’s baby boy, Ryder Falcon Atkins, arrived at 2:02 p.m. on December 14 in Nashville, Tennessee.
According to People, Ryder weighed 8 lbs., 13 oz., at birth and measured 20 inches long. Atkins revealed to the magazine that their son’s name honors both Falcon’s dad and grandpa.
Ryder joins Atkins’ 16-year-old son Elijah from a previous marriage. The couple tied the knot in November of 2013 and announced they were expecting a baby back in July.
Atkin’s will be adding more tour dates to his schedule real soon and has already announced that he will be performing at the Tuscarawas County Fair in Dover, Ohio on September 19, 2018.
