Shane Profitt to perform for WGAR Charity Concert at Thirsty Cowboy

on

Shane Profitt makes his Thirsty Cowboy in Medina debut when he performs for the WGAR 99.5FM Charity Concert on Saturday, April 18th for a great night of country music to benefit Harvest for Hunger, Northeast Ohio’s largest annual springtime food and fund drive.

Profitt began playing guitar in 2018 when his grandfather gave him one for Christmas. He started playing covers and writing his own material. Asluck would have it, he met Chris Janson and his wife/manager, Kelly, while on a date to a sushi restaurant. The Jansons signed Profitt to a songwriting contract, which led to Janson recording two of his songs on his 2021 album All In. That led to Profitt signing with Big Machine Records in 2022. The label released his debut extended play Maury County Line that August, along with lead single “How It Oughta Be”, which reached #16 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart in February 2023.

Local favorite, Chad Baker opens the show at 9pm and Shane will hit the stage at 10pm. (Doors open at 7pm) WGAR is offering their Loyal Listeners advance tickets to see Shane Profitt for only $9.95 (all-in price) and are available at ThirstyCowboys.com. The tickets will be $15 the day of the show online and at the door at Thirsty Cowboy.
