Post Road to Release CD This Summer

The popular Twinsburg-based band has had a busy spring recently taking top honors for Best Cover Band and Best Male Vocalist in the Scene Magazine awards. The band also recently had the opportunity to open for Uncle Kracker and also completed a new photo shoot for their upcoming CD scheduled for release in mid-July.

Post Road will be performing this month at the Aurora Concert Series in Aurora on Wednesday, June 8th; Titos Vodka party, FWD Day/Night club, East Bank of the Flats in Cleveland on Thursday June 16th; Willoughby Brewing Company in  Willoughby on Friday, June 17th and at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival, Wickliffe on Saturday, June 25th.

Buckin’ Ohio Rodeo
The Buckin’ Ohio Rodeo in Burbank, Ohio will present the Donley Ford Heart of Ohio Pro Bull Riding on Saturday, June 18th. The gates open at 4:00pm and the Mutton Bustin’ Registration starts at 5:00pm with the event starting at 5:30pm. The Bull Riding starts at 7:00pm.

Other Rodeo event days are: Saturday, July 16- The Place Presents National Day Of The Cowboy; Saturday, August 20 Winkler Tire Celebrates The American Farmer; and on Saturday, September 17th – Salute to America Day. BACKROADS
After auditioning singers for weeks, BACKROADS has added a new member to the band. Melissa Kay Wilson will be joining the group as a singer and will play acoustic guitar. Melissa fills the spot being left by Shawna, who is retiring and expecting another child!

Melissa hails from Garretsville, Ohio and played with the State Line Band before she moved out west. In Seattle, Washington she was the lead female vocalist for Latigo Lace, a regional country band that played all over the Pacific Northwest.

BACKROADS will be performing at Breitenbach in Sugarcreek on Saturday, June 18th; Whiskey Ranch CAK in Green on Friday, June 24th and Nashville Nights in Akron on Saturday, June 25th.  Follow the group on their Facebook page for more information on their summer schedule.

Hallway 44
The Randolph-based band is gearing up for an active summer schedule and will be playing this month at Bud’s Corner in Louisville on Friday, June 17th and The Wagon Wheel in Randolph on Saturday, June 18th.  The group also has a very special show at the Dusty Armadillio in August.  Follow the group at Hallway44.com.

Ryan Michael & The Redneck Romeos
One of the hardest working country bands in northeast Ohio shows no signs of slowing down this summer. The band continues to promote their first single, “Kick it with Me Tonight” and are preparing to play the Tim McGraw Fan party sponsored by the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 5th.

Kyle Thomas
Kyle is kicking off the the month of June with an unplugged performance at Tim Owens Travelers Tavern Thursday, June 2nd and then he and his band will begin a busy month of shows throughout the month including a show at Thirsty Cowboy in Medina on Friday, June 10th. The highlight of Kyle’s summer will come when he not only makes his DustyArmadillo debut on July 9th, but also will shoot his first video for one of the tracks from his self-titled debut EP.

Theresa Rose
Since leaving The Caliber Band, Theresa Rose has been keeping busy recording her debut EP expected to hit the streets soon. Her single, “My Home” was recently featured in the independent movie, “Providence” and her new single, “Never Learn” has just been released on Spotify. In between doing her own music, Theresa can be found doing some acoustic shows around the area and she is working on a collaboration in Italy.  More details at TheresaRoseMusic.com.

Midnight Riders Band
If you enjoy more traditional country music be sure to check out the Midnight Riders Band. John Dietrich and the band will be keeping busy during the summer at some of the areas best campgrounds, festivals and clubs. John is a monster fiddle player and he and the rest of Midnight Riders have earned a solid reputation for providing a very unique and enjoyable country music experience!

Midnight Riders will be performing at Lake Milton American Legion in Lake Milton on Friday, June 1oth and at the Wadsworth Eagles Redneck Party in Wadsworth on Friday, June 17th.

Bike Nights
Summer is here and so are many of the areas great bike nights! Country music goes great with motorcycles and you can find many of the local country bands playing throughout the week at the areas best bike nights. Some of the more popular bike nights include Legends, Quaker Steak & Lube, The Upper Deck, Mantua Corners Bar, Fire & Ice, Gears & Cheers and Whiskey Ranch CAK. Be sure to support your local bike nights and most of all, keep an eye out for the bikers!
