CONGRATS to @morganwallen who scored the @billboar

CONGRATS to @morganwallen who scored the @billboard all-genre "Songs of the Summer" chart with "I Had Some Help," a duet with @postmalone. The song is from Post's F-1 Trillion album, and it has enjoyed much success since it's release in May, including six weeks at the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Wallen becomes the first artist is 47 years to go back-to-back with the #1 song on the "Songs of the Summer" chart. He took the top spot in 2023 with "Last Night." And, he is only the second artist ever, of any genre, to accomplish back-to-back fete with Song of the Summer #1's. The first was Andy Gibb, who hit the top of the chart in 1977 with "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" and in 1978 with "Shadow Dancing."

CONGRATS to @@codyjohnson who has taken his single, “Dirt Cheap,” to #1 on the Mediabase Country Chart. The track becomes CoJo’s third #1 hit, joining 2023’s “The Painter” and 2021’s “‘Til You Can’t.” “Dirt Cheap” tops this week’s chart after making the jump up four spots from its previous position at #5. The song, written by Josh Phillips, has already been certified Gold by the RIAA, moving over 500,000 units since it was first released on Johnson’s 2023 album, Leather.

Born on this day in 1965 as Eilleen Regina Edwards in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, was @shaniatwain. She struck it big in 1995 with her second album, The Woman In Me, which scored five #1's on the US and Canadian Charts including "Any Man of Mine," "You Win My Love" and ("If You're Not in it For Love) I'm Outta Here." She continued with a total of 44 singles to the charts with more than a dozen more Top Ten hits. Shania has sold over 100 million records, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time and the best-selling female artist in country music history.

Drew Baldridge Notches First #1

@drewbaldridgemusic has a lot to celebrate! He scored his first #1 with his hit, “She’s Somebody Daughter,” and in doing so, he became the first independent artist to earn a chart-topping hit without any label support.

Drew shared the news on social media: “Hey guys, it’s Drew here and we’ve officially did it! We’ve officially made history. We are the first artist to ever independently get their first No. 1 song, and I just can’t believe it,” he said during his live post. “I’ve been sitting over here and just crying a little bit, shedding some tears, and just thinking about the journey of how long it’s taken to get here. We’ve been in Nashville for 13 years and I felt like everybody was kind of giving up on what we were doing, which is fine, you know. But the whole community… Country radio, y’all have rallied behind us, and to think now we have the No. 1 song in the whole country… it’s unbelievable. Thank you to you guys for not giving up on me, for allowing me to chase this dream, for sharing this song, calling your radio stations… I’m forever thankful.”
