on

Adam Sanders always knew when he was growing up in Lake City, Florida that he wanted to be a Country singer.  He spent much of his youth playing fairs festival and talent shows.  In the summer he would head to Nashville where he would go from to studio to studio on Music Row with his uncle, Scotty Sanders who was a professional session player.

In 2009, he made the move to Nashville full time and worked construction, but also started co-writing songs with other musicians and building relationships in the business. After only a couple years Sanders was signed to a publishing deal with Yellow Dog Music.

His songs went on to be recorded by some of Country music’s biggest names including Luke Bryan who included Sander’s song “Out Like That” on his Crash My Party album. His songs also found there way onto albums by his friend and fellow songwriting collaborator Cole Swindell who recorded “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” and “A Dozen Roses and A Six Pack.” Sanders scored his first No. 1 as a songwriter in 2015 with “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” and scored his second with “Hell Of a Night” with Dustin Lynch later that year.

Sanders was doing so well as a songwriter that it was time to give his first love of singing and performing on his own a shot.  He signed to on to a talent agency and started touring and opening shows for Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Thomas Rhett, Randy Houser, Dustin Lynch, Easton Corbin, The Cadillac Three, Gary Allan, Eric Paslay, Cole Swindell and many more.

His debut single “Nothing To Do But Drink” hit the airwaves in 2014 and quickly became a Highway Finds on SiriusXM. His follow up single “Somewhere That You Don’t Go” was released the following year and again became a Highway Finds pick. His next single “Thunder” has had more than 11 million streams and his latest single “About To” was released last month and is already building on the charts and with his fans.

He is currently traveling the country with Cam on her The Burning House Tour and will open the the show when they stop at Thirsty Cowboy in Medina on Friday, October 28.
