Kip Moore Announces New EP and Tour with a stop at The Goodyear Theater

on

Kip Moore will release his new EP, Room To Spare: The Acoustic Sessions on November 16 and will begin a four-city tour that includes a stop at The Goodyear Theater in Akron on Saturday, December 8.

Moore’s seven-track EP will feature an acoustic version of the “Plead The Fifth” from his highly successful Slowheart album, along with six new songs, five of which Moore co-wrote.

“The acoustic idea was something that was honestly born from the fans,” Moore said in a recent interview. “It was something I noticed would keep coming back around from them and that I have been promising to put out there. This project has been really cathartic as it doesn’t have the pressures of a full record, and allows you to mix things up a little bit creatively, but also totally strip things down, too. ‘Plead The Fifth’ is a song that is wild out on the road, and so it’s awesome that a song like that gets another life in this form, too.”

The acoustic Room To Spare Tour kicks off on November 29 in Milwaukee, WI and runs through his show at The Goodyear Theater. Charlie Worsham and Jillian Jacqueline will be joining Moore for the tour. Worsham co-wrote two of the songs on Moore’s new EP.

“Charlie and I have toured together before and Jillian is actually out with me right now on my current tour,” he says. “I think the rapport that I have with both of them as humans and the respect I have for them as artists will make for a really special run.”

Kip Moore will be performing at The Goodyear Theater in Akron on Saturday, December 8 at 8pm with special guests Charlie Worsham and Jillian Jacqueline. Tickets are $32.50-$50.00 and are available at The Goodyear Theater Box Office and at Ticketfly.com.
