In addition to her PD role, Wilson served as the VP of Operations for Rubber City Radio Group overseeing WAKR, WONE and The Wave in Cleveland. She spent eight years on the WQMX morning show Wynn & Wilson.

“It is with a grateful heart that I step away to knock a few things off my bucket list,” Wilson stated to All Access, a radio industry magazine on Friday (May 18). “I’ve had many great years at this locally-owned, community-focused company and will be forever grateful to Thom Mandel and Nick Anthony for the chance to lead this amazing team. Also proud to be leaving with WQMX at the top of its game! We now have a rare opportunity for someone to take this incredible brand to even higher heights.”

Wilson posted the news on her Facebook account on Monday (May 21).

Good luck to Sue in all of her new endeavors and thanks for all of your work in radio over the past 32 years.
