Tenille Arts to Perform at WQMX Bosom Buddies Benefit

on

WQMX’s 22nd Annual Bosom Buddies will get back to the live in-person event on Thursday, October 21. The fundraising event will take place at the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls and will host a live auction, raffles, a photo booth, survivors recognition, and a performance from 19th & Grand recording artist Tenille Arts.

Arts was raised in her hometown of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, where she began vocal and piano lessons. By 2009, she began posting videos of her cover versions of popular songs, including one of Taylor Swift’s “Fifteen.” The video helped garner her the attention of a talent scout in Nashville. She made the move to Music City, but returned to Canada to finish high school. In 2015, she relocated to Nashville to sign a publishing contract with Noble Vision Music Group and released “Breathe”, a charity single in support of Cystic Fibrosis research.

In 2018, Arts made an appearance on the television series, The Bachelor, performing an original ballad, “Moment of Weakness” and in 2020 performing “Somebody Like That.” Exposure from the show led to a record deal from indie label Reviver Records, which she signed in March 2018.  In 2019 she released the singles – “Call You Names” and “Somebody Like That” – to promote her second studio album, Love, Heartbreak, & Everything in Between, which was released on January 10, 2020. Earlier this year, she departed Reviver Records to work solely with 19th & Grand.

The 22nd Annual WQMX Bosom Buddies is a benefit for the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Muffins for Mammograms. The event is Sold Out.
