Lainey Wilson went into the CMA Awards on Wednesday night (11.9.23) with 9 nominations and came out with 5 wins, including the prestigious Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year. Jelly Roll took home his first CMA Award as the New Artist of the Year and Hardy took his first and second CMA wins for Musical Event and Music Video of the Year for “wait in the truck,” which also featured Lainey Wilson.
Chris Stapleton earned his seventh CMA Male Vocalist of the Year award, Old Dominion repeated as Group of the Year and Brothers Osborne were named Duo of the Year.
