Chris Cagle is getting ready to kick off his “Play It Loud 25th Anniversary Tour,” which includes a return visit to Thirsty Cowboy in Medina, Ohio, on Saturday, Feb 21st.
The first leg of the tour will start with an exclusive performance and interview in front of a live audience at the SiriusXM Studios in Nashville on Feb. 5th.
The special event will be broadcast Feb. 13th on SiriusXM’s Y2Kountry channel 57, and will start a year long celebration of Cagle’s, Play It Loud. The SiriusXM event will feature live music, as well as in-depth conversation with Cagle about the music that launched his career.
“This record changed my life,” says Cagle. “Twenty-five years later, it still means everything to me. This tour is about celebrating where it all started and the people who’ve been there every step of the way.”
When Play It Loud was introduced in 2000, it quickly put Cagle on the country music map. With his breakout hit “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out” he quickly became a new voice in the genre and has since generated over two billion career streams.
