Brad Paisley kicks off Drive-In Concerts in St. Louis

on

Brad Paisley kicked off the Live Nation Drive In Concert Series last night in St. Louis to an enthusiastic crowd of hundreds of country music fans.

The 47-year-old Paisley hit the stage on the parking lot turned concert venue at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre to perform some of his greatest hits in the outdoor experience. In addition, Paisley was joined by Carrie Underwood for a remote virtual duet.

Live Nation created the Drive-In Concert Series as a way to present shows during the coronavirus pandemic. Attendees to the concert had designated “tailgate zones” where they could set up chairs or blankets next to their parked vehicles. Masks were not mandatory unless you left your zone and portable toilets were also regularly sanitized.

The Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre is hosting two more drive-in concerts this weekend. St. Louis-based El Monstero will perform Saturday and Nelly will take the stage on Sunday.

Paisley was one of three acts scheduled to play at the venue this weekend along with El Monstero.
