Carly Pearce will perform an acoustic set for the fundraising benefit for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment. The event will happen on Wednesday, October 13 at Lorain County Community College’s Hoke Theatre of the Stocker Arts Center with special guest Tenille Arts opening the show. and hosted by WGAR’s Wazz & Carletta.
Pearce, a Kentucky native, first struck a chord with country music fans in 2017 when her self-penned song “Every Little Thing” found acclaim on satellite radio. The song helped Pearce secure a major label recording contract and became a major hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Her debut album of the same name debuted in the top five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Pearce has since released new material, including her #1 hit with Lee Brice, “I Hope Your Happy Now” and the 2020 single “Next Girl.”
Tenille Arts is a Canadian country singer from Weyburn, Saskatchewan. She released an extended play and studio album with 19th + Grand Records before signing a joint record deal with indie label Reviver Records in 2018. Her first album under that deal, Love, Heartbreak, & Everything in Between, was released in January 2020. The release produced the hit single, “Somebody Like That,” which has been certified Gold by the R.I.A.A.
