When we first saw Erin Stoll perform back in 2016, it was just miles from her home in Medina County. Now, the Nashville recording artist heads half way across the country to perform at one of the longest running country music festivals, Country Fest in Cadott, WI.
Erin has been performing all over Ohio and beyond, entertaining fans with her shows with her band and opening shows for national touring acts. She will take the stage at Country Fest, where the average daily attendance averages around 30,000 attendees. “The largest crowd I’ve ever played in front of was 800+ opening for the Moonshine Bandits in 2017,” Erin confessed. “so 30,000+ will be the largest crowd I’ve ever performed in front of.”
This year has been one to remember for Erin. She recorded songs in Nashville that have garnered her the attention of music critics around the country and recently won ESPN Cleveland’s Really Big Break.
She can now add her appearance at Country Fest, which began in 1987, to her list of accomplishments this year. “Since this year has been a historic one for my music, it feels almost as if this was meant to be. Making history with my music and being a part of a historical event is a dream come true,” Erin stated.
Erin will be performing on Friday, June 28th at Country Fest on the same roster as other performers on that day which include Keith Urban, Warren Zeiders, Cooper Alan, Deana Carter, Neon Union, Dalton Dover, Redferrin and many more.
Erin has been preparing for this performance for a while. “There is definitely a lot of planning that goes into it, as well as rehearsals,” Erin explained. “The travel alone is over a 10 hour drive from Ohio, so the logistics that go into the trek there is important as well.”
Erin has much more on the horizon for 2024, which will include a move to be closer to her band and Music City. “I will be making the move to Southern Tennessee later this fall to be closer to my musicians (one from Nashville, two from Muscle Shoals, Alabama) and to be closer to the music,” Erin explains. “I will be recording 3-4 more singles this fall to be released in the winter of 2024. I have several co writes on the books this year, as well, for new songs.”
In addition to more new music, Erin will also be hitting the road again. “We are currently putting together a tour for 2025 that will include TN, AL, TX, GA, FL, SC, NC and will be playing out west (including CO) as well,” said Erin.
