Jason Aldean most recently performed on CMT Crossroads with Bob Seger, but ten years ago he joined Canadian rock legend Bryan Adams for a special invitation-only taping of the show in Nashville.
The two musical heavyweights took turns covering songs from each others catalog. One of the many highlights from the concert was “Heaven.” Aldean pours his heart out singing lead on the song and Adams supports on harmonies during the chorus. (Watch the video below)
The show originally aired on June 26, 2009 and along with “Heaven,” they also covered Aldean’s hits “She’s Country,” “Amarillo Sky,” “Why,” “Johnny Cash” and Adams’ hits “The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You,” “Summer of ’69,” “Back To You,” “Cuts Like A Knife.”
