Kenny Chesney brings Sun Goes Down Tour to Blossom

on

Kenny Chesney has been bringing his tours to No Shoes Nation via super-sized stadium shows. But, before Chesney ever became a Billboard Top 10 Touring Act, he delivered those shows in arenas and amphitheaters. Those shows had the same intensity, but also an intimacy that reflected who the attendees were, as much as they were the life of the songwriter from East Tennessee.

With 23 stadium plays – on sale or sold out – across America, Chesney decided he wanted to capture some of that intimacy and intensity this summer. “It takes a lot of work to put together a stadium-sized show, and that’s actually part of the fun,” Chesney stated. “But you can get so busy with all the details that go into a stadium show, it captures your focus… and then you look up, and you realize that there’s also this thing that’s smaller and more intimate, and you want that, too.

“There is nothing like being out on the lawn with your friends, or even under the pavilion, on a clear night hearing the music and just being in the moment,” he added. “You can do some things in that environment you can’t at a stadium. It’s less production, less massive, but there’s a real sense of connection that is undeniable.”

Chesney will look to connect to fans when he performs at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on June 6, 2024.

Joining him for the show will be the Country Music Association Song of the Year and Best New Artist nominee Megan Moroney.

General on-sale begins on Friday, March 15 at 10 am at KennyChesney.com.
