Lauren Mascitti and Buck Naked Band to Perform at Concert for First Responders

on

First Responders are the lifesavers in our communities. In many cases, these heroes are volunteers, reserves or auxiliary who buy their protective gear and necessary work tools out of their own pockets. The Concert for First Responders will help to raise funds for these volunteers for their out-of-pocket expenses with performances from Lauren Mascitti and Buck Naked Band at Centennial Plaza in Canton on Saturday, May 21.

Mascitti, who is probably best known from her time on ABC’s American Idol, is a Louisville, Ohio native who made the move to Nashville in 2014 after finishing her nursing degree. She still works as a nurse, but has also been producing new music. Although she didn’t win the vote for the American Idol Top 20, putting her in 21st place, Idol fans catapulted Mascitti’s 2021 independent album release “God Made a Woman” to #4 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart within a day of her elimination.

The Buck Naked Band has been entertaining crowds all over Northeast Ohio for over a decade. A four-time Fox 8 Hotlist winner and the 2019 & 2020 winner of the Beacons Best are known for bringing the party, drawing large crowds and their “holler’n and swaller’n” good times

Concert for First Responders will take place on Saturday, May 21 at Centennial Plaza (330 Court Ave. NW, Canton, Ohio). Showtime is 6pm.

100% of the funds raised through your contributions will be awarded to the departments in Stark County that demonstrate a practical need for the money, based on a criteria the Donations Committee has set forth.
