Michael Ray’s First Headlining Tour Makes Stop at Dusty Armadillo

on

Michael Ray finally gets to tour as a headliner on his Think A Little Less Tour, which takes it’s name from the title of his current single on the charts.  He will make a stop on the tour at the Dusty Armadillo in Rootstown for a Sold Out show on Sat., Nov. 5.

The Think A Little Less Tour started Oct. 14 in Phoenix, AZ and will continue through Nov. 26 in Rome, GA and make stops in 14 cities along the way.

Ray spent almost 10 year’s opening for other acts including Chase Rice, Sam Hunt, Kip Moore and Brantley Gilbert and he just finished a summer tour with Darius Rucker.

“So incredibly excited and grateful for my first official headlining tour,” Ray remarked in a press release. “Ten years of hard work has led me to this point. Lots of incredible music in store as well as a few surprises. Can’t wait to see you all out there!”

The Florida native originally got his start on CW’s “The Next,” where he was mentored by John Rich of Big & Rich. He and Rich stayed in touch after the show was over and co-wrote Big & Rich’s 2015 single, “Run Away With You.”

Ray went on to sign with Warner Nashville and his debut single “Kiss You In The Morning” reached No. 1 on the Country Airplay Charts. He followed with “Real Men Love Jesus” which made it’s way into the Top 20 and his current single “Think A Little Less” is climbing the charts.

Ray scored two awards for “Kiss You In The Morning” and “Run Away With You” at the 64th Annual BMI Awards on this past Tues., Nov. 1. They are certainly the first in what should be a career filled with nominations and accolades.

Michael Ray will bring his Think A Little Less Tour to the Dusty Armadillo in Rootstown, Ohio with special guest Filmore on Saturday, November 5. Doors open at 7:00pm and then Filmore hits the stage at 9:00pm and Michel Ray at 10:00pm. The show is Sold Out.
