Miranda Lambert leads Country Music’s Grammy nominations

The 2021 Grammy Award nominations were announced earlier today (Nov. 24) with a mix of country newcomers and veterans. Mickey Guyton, who was on hand for the announcement, earned her first nomination for her song “Black Like Me” in the Best Country Solo Performance category, but it’s Miranda Lambert leading the way with nominations in three country Grammy categories – Country Album, Country Song, and Best Country Solo Performance.

Other notables who received two nominations in the Country categories include Old Dominion, Ingrid Andress, Brandy Clark and Little Big Town.

The awards show will take place on January 31, 2021 in Los Angeles and will be hosted by Trevor Noah, host of The Daily Show.
