Morgan Wallen came into the 58th Annual CMA Awards leading the pack with seven nominations and won only one – the coveted Entertainer of the Year. It marks the first win for Wallen since he won the New Artist of The Year four years ago.
Chris Stapleton followed with three wins – Single and Song of the Year for “Wild Horses” and Male Vocalist of the Year. Cody Johnson took home the trophy for Album of the Year for Leather and Lainey Wilson was named Female Vocalist of the Year for the third time.
One of the surprises on the night was Brooks & Dunn being named Duo of the Year. The pair last won the award in 2006 and now have a total of 19 CMA wins!
