When I woke up on Tuesday (Dec. 2), I was greeted by about 3 inches of snow and the reality of driving and everything else that comes with winter in Ohio. But, my mood quickly improved as soon as I heard the line up for Neon Nights and the return to two-days of country music on August 14th & 15th at Clay’s Park in North Lawrence, Ohio.
The event, now in it’s sixth year, offered their fans a split between classic rock and throwback country last year with Foreigner and Brooks & Dunn headlining, but are returning to the original format of throwback country with a major emphasis on 1990’s through the 2000’s country with acts including Darryl Worley, Terri Clark, Craig Morgan, Joe Nichols, Shenandoah, Neal McCoy, Rascal Flatts and Billy Currington.
Neon Nights is The Country Fest for the older generation, with a long list of hits and songs that will have everyone singing along and we are excited that the entire weekend will be dedicated to more of the throwback country that we love so much! Now, we just need to survive another winter in Northeast Ohio, before we can enjoy it again.
Tickets will go sale Friday, December 5th at 9am at theneonnights.com.
