Tyler Farr was the headline act for the 15th Annual FOX & Friends All American Summer Concert this past Friday (June 23). He performed his biggest hits live from the FOX plaza and also made a surprise announcement during his on-air interview with Ainsley Earhardt, Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade that his new EP, Rednecks Like Me, will be available across all streaming platforms on Friday, July 14.
“This is the first project I’ve co-wrote all the songs on, so this is a big step in my career for me,” said Farr. “I’m so proud of this album and hope fans will really get a chance to hear what I’m all about.”
The platinum-selling Country-rocker performed a string of hits on the Fox & Friends broadcast, including No.1’s “Redneck Crazy,” “Whiskey In My Water” and “A Guy Walks Into a Bar.” The star was also surprised live on FOX & Friends with a double platinum sales plaque for “Redneck Crazy” and a platinum sales plaque for “Guy Walks Into a Bar.”
Farr also performed his newest southern-rooted anthem, “Rednecks Like Me,” which is featured on Farr’s upcoming EP titled Rednecks Like Me. Check out the new video for the song below.
Produced by Jason Aldean with his long-time band-members Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy, the country-to-the bone EP flaunts Farr’s signature raspy vocals and is a swift return to the sound that initially propelled him to redneck stardom.
