WGAR Battle for the Jam – Round Four

on

This week will be the fourth and final round of the WGAR Battle for the Jam at Thirsty Cowboy in Medina, Ohio.  This Thursday, July 28 the last two competing acts will be Kyle Thomas & Big Machine (8pm) and Matt VanFossen (9pm).

The first three weeks of the battle for the jam have been entertaining and a great way to get to see two acts in less than two hours, with each performing a 45-minute set of their best material that includes both covers and originals.

The winner will be chosen after this round with the winner to play the Thirsty Cowboy at the WGAR Country Jam at Black River Landing on Saturday, August 6.

The winner will be determined through various criteria including Music (not only choice but performance), Stage Presence & Crowd Interaction, Appearance & Personality and Crowd Applause.  A lot of the winning has to do with the crowd. So, if you have a favorite, plan to be at the club that night and make some noise! If you don’t have a favorite come out and enjoy a great night of music from two great country acts

Brian from the WGAR Morning Show will be on hand Thursday from 8:00pm – 10:00pm, too. WGAR will be doing a Scan ‘n Win and you can also get your Country Jam tickets at the event.

If you can’t make it to Thirsty Cowboy, be sure to check out ClevelandCountryMagazine.com for the announcement of the winning act.

The best part is that the Battle for the Jam are FREE, with no cover charge!!
