Normally, by this time of the year we would be gearing up for the WGAR Country Jam and waiting for the final schedule of artists to be released. But, as many have guessed, the event is taking 2022 off.
The Country Jam originally began in 1992 at North Coast Harbor in Cleveland, and has continued throughout some name changes as the radio stations summer event. The most recent, and most utilized of the venues, the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, has always been a great spot for the country music event each year. We have been treated to acts like Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Jason Aldean, Dan + Shay, Josh Turner, Morgan Wallen, Billy Currington, Jake Owen and many others over the past 30 years.
The take away from the message we received from a WGAR representative, is that this year is ‘not canceled’, and that they are just taking 2022 off. Which should be indication that the Country Jam will be back in 2023. We are already looking forward to it!
