Chris Stapleton will return to Saturday Night Live as the musical guest on Saturday, January 27. The appearance on the late night show will come just one day before the 2018 Grammys which will be held in New York.
Stapleton’s first appearance on SNL came in 2016 where he sang “Parachute” and “Nobody to Blame” from his debut album Traveller. Last year he released two albums, From A Room Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. The first was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Country Album category, and he is also received nods for Best Country Solo Performance for “Either Way,” and Best Country Song for “Broken Halos.”
Stapleton did not appear in an sketches on his first appearance on SNL two years ago, but hopefully will get to show more of his humorous side as he did with with Chris Pratt on Jimmy Kimmel Live back in December
The SNL show will be hosted by Will Ferrel and can be seen live on NBC at 11:30pm (ET) on local station WKYC.
