When did band form: Hannan started performing live at the age of 11 and by 12 she had a band, and has ever since. 18 years and counting.
Members: Jessica Hannan – Lead Singer; David Haag – Percussion; Tim Lillo – Bass Guitar and Chris Liming – Lead Guitar.
About the band: Hannan describes the band as Country Rock. A cross between a style like Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood to Eric Church or Brantley Gilbert. Their Country music has a current sound with more of a rock vibe. Hannan released her EP Drive last November and is shooting a video at Yankee Bootlegger’s Saloon in Brookfield, Ohio on April 7.
Hannan, a Jeromesville, Ohio native, has had many highlights during her performing career and opened for Jeff Carson for a crowd of over 10,000 people. Other notable opening slots have included shows with Trick Pony, Kenny Wayne Shepard and opened before Erich Church. Hannan and her band play many fairs and festivals and local Country venues including Whiskey Ranch and Dusty Armadillo. The band will headline the Holland Strawberry Fest in June and co-headline the Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival in August.
Why you should see their show: Hannan and her band try to make their show a little different. “We aren’t just up on stage playing music. I make it personal. I am a friendly person, I love getting to know my fans and allowing them to have the opportunity to get to know me. I enjoy incorporating humor into my shows,” she stated. As the lead singer and front person for the band Hannan provides high energy in her shows. “I jump around, dance and really put on an actual show not just sing and play music.”
