Canaan Smith must love being on the road. He barely finished his summer tour schedule and is ready to kick off his fall schedule with the Sundown Ready Tour this weekend. He will make a stop in Indiana and then heads to the Thirsty Cowboy in Medina, for his show on Saturday, October 8.
“Instead of taking time off, we couldn’t resist getting back out there with the fans,” said Smith.
Smith, who is from Williamsburg, Virginia, released his debut single “We Got Us” back in 2012. He followed up with “Love You Like That” in 2014. That song made it all the way to the top of the country airplay charts and has been certified platinum. The track was from the album Bronco, which also produced the hit, “Hole in a Bottle.”
Smith will log over 150 shows this year and previously has toured with Dierks Bentley, Brantley Gilbert and Kip Moore. He brings newcomer Michael Tyler along with him on the 15-city Sundown Ready Tour. Tyler, recently released his single “Crazy Last Night” and celebrated his first No. 1 as a songwriter for “Somewhere on a Beach” for Bentley. Country rocker Jake Scherer will open the shows.
