Country Megaticket

I remember when I was a kid, we would either wait in line or sit on the phone, which was connected by a cord, in order to get tickets to a concert.  Now, with the internet and cell phones, you can be sitting on a park bench and score great seats to a show. With the Country Megaticket, the concert tickets have become even easier to get, to all of the shows.  That’s because one Megaticket is good for all 13 shows.  And, it’s the same seat for every show.  You can only buy them online, so no standing in line, no waiting on hold on the phone.  Where was the Megaticket when I was a kid? Megatickets are on sale now and range in price from $375 a ticket for Lawn Seats all the way up to $1,175 for Reserved Seating in the front of the Pavilion.

You can even purchase a parking pass for all the shows for $260. There will be a delivery delay with Megatickets being mailed out on or around April 18th. Megaticket Schedule All events are subject to change.

Country Concert at Hickory Hill Lakes

The Country Concert at Hickory Hill Lakes in Ft. Loramie, Ohio, will be celebrating their 36th anniversary with their 3-day festival  July 7th-9th in Shelby County.  The Country Concert started as a thank you to seasonal campers at Hickory Hill Lakes, and to celebrate the wedding anniversary of the owners, Mike and Mary Jo Barhorst. In 1981, Mike and Mary Jo asked Louise Mandrell to perform,  and they invited the general public, too. The success of that first festival inspired them to make a weekend of it, and the rest is history, with almost 350 artists that have played the event.

This years lineup includes Saloon Stage (2nd stage) performance by Old Dominion and Clark Manson on Wednesday, July 6th.

The rest of the weekends schedule is:

Thursday, July 7th; Dustin Lynch, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band; Saloon Stage – William Michael Morgan, Carter Winter

Friday, July 8th; Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, Big & Rich, Chris Janson

Saloon Stage – The Wolfe Brothers, Cam

Saturday, July 9th; Eric Church, Thomas Rhett, Kacey Musgraves, A Thousand Horses, Cassadee Pope, Brothers Osborne Saloon Stage – The Steel Drivers, Brothers Osborne, Haley Georgia, Pilgrim
