on

After a four-month break, Eddie Montgomery will carry on the tradition of Montgomery Gentry and announced the dates for the Here’s To You Tour in 2018. The tour will make it’s way through Ohio on several occasions, the first being at Thirsty Cowboy in Medina on Friday, March 16.

The tour will visit 25-cities along the way starting on January 19, supporting Alabama in South Dakota and end the run September 15 in California. Along the way, the tour will stop in Columbus, Ohio at The Bluestone on March 17; the Country Concert at Hickory Hill Lakes in Ft. Loramie on July 6 and in Zainesville on August 17 for the Muskingum County Fair.

The tour will be the first show’s for Montgomery Gentry since the death of Troy Gentry, who was killed in a helicopter crash on September 8.

The duo had completed recording of their eighth studio album, Here’s To You, prior to Gentry’s passing and will support the new album with the tour. The album is scheduled for release on February 2.

“I’m anxious to get back out on the road and play some new music for our friends and fans,” Montgomery said in a press release. “Next year marks the 20th anniversary of our band — we’ve got lots to celebrate and look forward to in 2018.”

The tour will also serve to honor and celebrate the life and career of Gentry. It is unclear how Gentry’s role will be filled during the tour.

Here’s To You, featuring the lead single “Better Me,” is available for pre-order via Pledge Music. Online donations for the T.J. Martell Foundation are being accepted upon purchase. The nonprofit supports cancer research, and Montgomery Gentry is proud to continue to help the cause with the release of Here’s To You.

Montgomery Gentry will perform at Thirsty Cowboy in Medina on Friday, March 16 at 10pm. Tickets are $25/Advance and $30/Day of Show and go on sale this Friday, December 8 at 10am at ThirstyCowboy.com.
