George Strait to Perform at Buckeye Country Superfest

After taking a hiatus in 2018, the Buckeye Country Superfest returns in 2019 with a roster that includes the “King of Country,” George Strait. The 66-year-old singer will be joined by Blake Shelton for the event on Saturday, June 8 at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.

Strait began his run of hits in 1981 with “Unwound” and has since charted 60 #1 singles and 33 platinum-selling albums, the most of any country music artist.

Shelton will be on break from his role as a judge on “The Voice.” The five-time Male Vocalist of the Year’s latest album, Texahoma Shore debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard top country albums chart.

Strait and Shelton will be joined by Chris Janson, Midland and RaeLynn.

Tickets will range from $49.50-$399.50 and will go on Sale on Friday, December 7 at 10am at Ticketmaster.

The Ticket Office (located on the NE corner of the Schottenstein Center) will sell tickets to the show with no Ticketmaster service fees if purchased at those windows regardless of method of payment. The Schottenstein Center box office is open 8am-5pm Mon-Fri. The Ticket Office may or may not be open the day of the event (June 8) but day of show sales will be available at the Ticket windows at the stadium (Gate 5).
