Jamboree In The Hills 2018 Celebrates 42nd Year

on

Since 1977, Jamboree In The Hills in Morriston, Ohio has been attracting over 100,000 fans each summer who come to enjoy the 4-day country music festival. This year will be the 42nd anniversary with over two dozen acts scheduled to perform from July 19-22.

The event actually kicks off on Monday prior to the start of JITH, when more than 5,000 campers start to arrive and enjoy activities and contests. This year Craig Morgan will perform on Wednesday, July 18 for what has become the campers party.

Fans from Ohio, Kentucky, Pensylvania and places all over the country and Canada come to what has been called the “Super Bowl of Country Music.”  The event is the longest running and one of the most popular country music festivals in America and is a two-time winner of the CMA’s (Country Music Associations) Festival, Fair or Special Event of the Year Award.
