The Richland County Fair announced that the headline entertainment at this year’s event is Joe Diffie. The show is scheduled for Tuesday, August 8 at 8:00pm. The DeVault Ridge Band will open the show for the 58-year-old singer at 6:30pm.
Diffie started his career in Nashville as a demo singer during the 80’s and was signed to Epic Records in 1990. He went on to chart 35 singles on the Country charts with five of those hitting #1: his debut release “Home,” “If The Devil Danced (In Empty Pockets),” “Third Rock From The Sun,” “Pickup Man” (his longest-lasting number one, at four weeks) and “Bigger Than the Beatles.”
